The 8 authenticity checks we run on every piece

1. The hangtag on the size label. Real Lululemon has a small square hangtag with the size, style number and country of manufacture. Fakes often skip this or print it crookedly.

2. The wordmark logo. Look at the "lululemon" text on the leg or waistband. Genuine: the L has a slightly angled foot; letters are evenly spaced; the "u" curves are identical. Fakes: uneven spacing, thicker strokes, wrong angle on the L.

3. The reversed omega symbol. Real omegas are perfectly symmetrical; both legs are equal length. Fakes often have one leg slightly longer or the curve wrong.

4. Stitching quality. Real Lululemon has flatlock seams with 12–14 stitches per inch, no loose threads, no puckering. Fakes usually have looser stitch density and visible thread ends.

5. The care label content. Real: 4–5 clear lines with fabric composition, country of origin and a QR code or style number. Fakes: often missing the QR, wrong fabric names, or garbled washing symbols.

6. The fabric feel. Nulu (Align) has a distinctive silky-matte finish — not shiny, not rubbery. Everlux (Wunder Train) is firm with a sanded feel. If it feels plasticky, it is a fake.

7. The gusset and pocket construction. Real Align leggings have a diamond-shaped gusset with clean edges. Fakes often use a triangular gusset or none at all.

8. The style number lookup. Every real Lululemon piece has a 4–6 digit style number on the internal tag. Search it on Lululemon's official site — if nothing comes up, it is fake.
