Is Pre-owned Lululemon Worth It?
An honest look at what you save, what you give up, and how pre-owned compares with buying new or buying a dupe.
The quick answer
For most people, yes. You get the same Lululemon fabric for a fraction of the new price — our pre-owned Align 25" is £22 against £88 new. The trade-off is that it isn't brand new, so the grade matters.
New vs pre-owned: Align 25" price
| Price | vs new | |
| New, full price (lululemon.co.uk) | £88 | — |
| ThriftUp pre-owned, single piece | £22 | 75% less |
| ThriftUp pre-owned, ×10+ per piece | £9 | 90% less |
| ThriftUp pre-owned, ×50+ per piece | £7.50 | 91% less |
New price is the full price shown on lululemon.co.uk in October 2026. Lululemon runs sales, so the new price can be lower at times.
All rates shown are indicative minimums. Final quotes depend on stock condition, style and size mix, order quantity and shipping destination.
What "pre-owned" actually means here
Every piece is graded before it enters stock:
| Grade | What it means |
| Grade A | Excellent pre-owned. Only minor use signs. No defects. |
| Grade AB | Good pre-owned. Slight wear, mild pilling or minor fabric relaxation. No holes, stains or damage. |
If you only want pieces that look close to new, ask for Grade A. Grade AB is the better-value option and is what most wholesale mixes are made of.
How we take the risk out
- 8-point authenticity check on every piece — logo, stitching, care label, style number, fabric and more. Anything that fails is rejected.
- Photo or video of the exact item sent to you on WhatsApp before you pay the balance.
- 50% to place the order, 50% once you've approved the photos.
The full process is on our Authenticity Guarantee page, and you can learn the signs yourself with how to spot fake Lululemon.
Pre-owned Lululemon vs dupes
Dupes are new and cheap, but they aren't Lululemon — the fabric is different, and they don't hold the brand's resale value. Pre-owned Lululemon is the real fabric at a lower price, and if you resell it later it still sells as Lululemon.
If you only want the look for a short time and don't care about the fabric or resale, a dupe can make sense. If you want Nulu or Everlux specifically, pre-owned gets you there for less.
When pre-owned isn't the right choice
- You want something brand new with no signs of use at all.
- You need one exact colour and size, today — pre-owned stock changes, so specific combinations aren't always available.
- You're buying a gift and want new packaging and tags.
For everything else — everyday wear, the gym, or stocking a resale shop — pre-owned is usually the better deal.
